First post
So, I actually made my first blog back in 2008 when I was six years old. I loved it, I would upload pictures and stories and what I had played pretend that day.
And after a few years of that- it turned into making YouTube videos. I did that from about fifth grade through ninth, and I posted a video every now and then after moving to Utah.My point is, I have always liked being active online, and putting myself out there for strangers none the less. I like the way sharing my thoughts feels- anyone that follows my private Instagram could vouch for me. I love to talk. I love to share. And it feels like my life is at such an exciting point right now and I have just been d y i n g to share it with the world. I’m getting married! Best part is, I’m only nineteen. But as I’ve been brainstorming topics for blog posts, I’ve realized that’s the only exciting part of my life. Other than being engaged, I am completely average. In essentially all aspects possible. I have maybe two friends I see regularly, I have a full-time job at a bank, only around 1000 followers on Instagram. I’m a typical person. I don’t have a crazy skill that sets me a part, I’m not a beauty blogger or a world traveler, I can’t cook to save a life and you will rarely see me at the gym. So why on Earth do I want to share my boring life? Absolutely no idea.
So that’s where the title of my blog comes from. Mundane Moments with Reese. I want to share the average aspects of life, the day-to-day routine that keeps everything consistent and predictable. I will get around to talking about new and/or stressful things (like planning a whole a** wedding), but for now, I’m using this blog as a way to be grateful for my boring life. It might not be interesting, but it will be relatable. That’s all I can promise you.
